It's lovely to have for cake batter, whipped cream, and egg whites, but even though it comes with a bread hook, it can't handle bread dough. After a few minutes of kneading, the whole top starts to bounce and shake, and I have to stand and hold it down. If the dough is stiff, it then overheats. Most likely the next size up works fine, but I can't afford to upgrade.

The first time I used this 5 quart mixer it was shaky. Watched the manufacturer's video on how to fix it, followed the instructions, and it works perfectly. My only frustration is with the bowl, it's grooves to steady it on the platform are not deep enough on one part and do not hold the bowl steady while kneading the pizza dough (recipe in the product information guide.) I will likely contact the manufacturer regarding this.
