Received this mixer as a surprise Christmas gift. Just used it a few times so far and I'm pretty happy with it. I always used a portable mixer and I'm amazed at how easy and convenient a stand mixer is. It does take up a lot of counter space though-but if I put it away, I'm afraid I won't use it!
