I love my new 5 qt Kitchen Aid Mixer. The speed controls are easy and the attachments for mixing are outstanding. The width of the bowl allows one to add ingredients easily and no spills or splattering. The noise level is not existent. I feel the quality of the materials used in its making will allow this mixer to last a life time and for me to pass down to my daughter. I could not be happier with my new Kitchen Aid Mixer and I look forward to using it more often than I did with my old Sunbeam mixer.

At age 73 I was skeptical about my need for a stand alone mixer now that I am just cooking for two. Now I can't imagine being without it as I use it for everything, big and small mixing jobs. I can walk away from it if I have forgotten an ingredient and feel comfortable doing so. It is easy to use, not at all intimidating, and clean up is simple. I thought I would put it in the pantry, but find I use it often enough that it needs a prominent place on our kitchen counter.
