I have been wanting a KitchenAid stand mixer for years, and I finally bought one. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!
It does everything it promised it would do. I purchased the additional coated attachments, and they are great. The beater with the vinyl scraper is marvelous. It mixes ingredients quite thoroughly. I only need to do a minimal amount of scraping down the bowl sides, just like I had to do with my previous mixer. Would gladly recommend the purchase of this stand mixer to anyone.

I bought the Artisan mixer in December and I'm very pleased. Leave it out on my counter as it looks great and is easily accessible. Easy to clean and so much easier to whip up a batch of cookies, a cheese cake...whatever. Great for preparing meatloaf, doing mashed potatoes too. My only suggestion would be to design the bowl a little wider. Adding wet ingredients through spout in shield is fine, but I find adding dry ingredients to the bowl while the mixer is running is a little more difficult....not enough room between mixer head and sides of bowl. I usually end up stopping the machine, lifting the head and pouring the dry ingredients in. Not a biggie, but the reason I only give 4 stars. Otherwise love my new purchase!

We love making homemade pizza dough, but kneading it takes a lot of time and strength. We made our homemade dough with our Kitchenaid mixer for the first time and it was so simple! We used our standard recipe and mixed the ingredients using the dough hook. In almost no time the dough was completely mixed and ready for rising, all without manual kneading. We love it!

My 91-yr old dad loves my oatmeal raisin cookies. So much so that I have to make a large batch every week. This was a real chore mixing by hand. With my KitchenAid, mixing is not problem and the cookies are baked and ready to go in no time! I love it!
