Primarily used to mix dough for rye bread on a weekly basis. Took a while getting used to, especially with the plastic splash cover and flour all over the counter. Slowed down and let the mixer do the work.
The cleats on the plastic splash cover need to be longer as the cover often comes loose when mixing.
But all in all, I'm pleased with this mixer. It's a brute!

LOVE this mixer! So quiet and efficient. The one drawback is that there's no way to lock the bowl down when mixing up heavier dough, like bread. So you have to hold it in place. Really a minor issue.

I hoped for a KitchenAid mixer.....forever, finally Santa made my dream come true :)
Using this mixer makes prep easier, I have been branching out and use it to mix up other things other than cookie dough and cake batter, such as mixing up different meatloaves and dressings. I'm using it more than I ever thought I would and my family is reaping the benefits! I'm looking forward to purchasing additional attachments to branch out even more :)
Pros: hands free food prep, easy to use, Innovative, Performance, Design, Convenient Features, Fun color choices
Cons: attachments are worthy but just as expensive, metal band on head seems thin and ill fitting
