Just what we needed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this model after we had to return a cheaper stand mixer that literally broke the first time we used it. It is heavy weight enough that it does not move around the countertop, powerful enough to easily handle extended kneading duty for breads, but still small enough to be the right tool for every day uses. It also looks really sleek and pretty! Only had it a few weeks. Have used it several times already and am hoping that it lasts as long as the Kitchen Aid mixer we gave my mother in 1975 (that still works!)

I just purchased this mixer and so far only used it once, but it worked as well as expected. My old mixer is over 30 years old, so this was so much easier to use. The only issue I have so far is that it weighs so much and is hard to move around.

I upgraded to the 5-Quart thinking the power would be better but a little disappointed. Has a hard time with thicker dough and makes the bowl come lose. With more liquid mix items works great.
