I LOVE THIS MIXER. I just want to be clear about that. The only flaw in the design is with the splatter shield because it does not stay on. Perhaps if KitchenAid were to put rubber over the 3 little pieces that are supposed to hold it on AND make those pieces a bit longer, it would stay on. I have spent the last 8 months refusing to make any baked goods for my family because my old mixer burned up last Christmas during baking season and I refused to get a replacement until I could get a KitchenAid. The red that I wanted was backordered so this took some time. I have made 3 different types of cookies and made-from-scratch cinnamon rolls and they ALL turned out so much better than any batches I have ever made with my old mixer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was tired of making buttercream by a hand mixer, got a newsstand mixer for Christmas. I love it and it’s a beautiful color. Have been trying new recipes And just got the pasta attachment and can’t wait to try it out too.

I should have bought this years ago! An amazing product that is super versatile. I'm excited to buy the adapters to make sausages and pasta. Yes, it's a bit pricey but worth the investment. Plus you get extra storage space back by not having to buy so many counter dependent appliances.
