I received the Artisan Series 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer for Christmas 2016. It is making a loud noise. The noise is so loud that it is almost unbearable. I previously owned a smaller Kitchen Aid for 24 years and never had a problem with it when mixing the same recipes. It was still working great but my husband felt that an upgrade was in order. I have tried to contact the help line a couple of times but keep having to hold. I also have done an online complaint and asked how to have it replaced but was told to call the helpline during the weekday business hours. Which is difficult since I work during the weekdays.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
