This mixer has been on my wish list for a very long time. Since I have purchased my mixer I have become the baking queen in my home. How have I ever managed for all these years without it. My cakes and bread have improved dramatically and I'm constantly looking for new recipes to try out on my kitchen aid. I love it !!!

Beater knocks against the bowl

Recently purchased the Artisan mixer I have wanted forever. However, every time I use it the beater knocks against the bowl and will dislodge it from its mount if I don't watch it closely. Very irritating as this is supposed to be a hands free mixer. I'm sure this isn't normal.
