I have used it a few times since purchase. It's been wonderful. The real test is to see if it lasts as long as my Grandmother's Kitchenaid mixer did - which was decades and still working fine. THAT is why we bought a Kitchaid - Dependability, Durability, and longivity. I plan on buying some of the nice attachments for it in the future - but ONLY if it was made in the U.S.A. buy American workers at an American plant.

I received this as a gift from my husband and sons. I love the finish - it does not show fingerprints and looks quite nice sitting on my countertop. It is very easy to use and I am looking forward to getting some of the attachments at some point. Mashed potatoes are extremely easy - they were ready in just a few minutes. It is nice to be able to free up your hands when you go from a hand-held mixer to a stand mixer.

This Kitchen Aid mixer is terrific! I have used a hand held mixer for over thirty years. Who knew what I had been missing. I wanted to make bread and use a mixer with a kneading hook instead of kneading by hand. This is the best thing since sliced bread. I make my own bread every day now. I couldn't be more pleased.

I purchased this item as a birthday present for my wife November of 2016. She is completely in LOVE with it. She has used it since she opened and took it out of the box. She has many plan's for it and is praying I buy as many attachments as possible. Her mind is now thinking of ways to us it.
The tilting head with the basic attachment and the color is what she wanted but didn't expect to get. WOWZER, was she so surprised, she started to cry when she knew what was in the wrapped gift box. She final received a gift, she was longing and hoping for. She's been singing the praises of the KitchenAid Mixer and it doesn't seem like the praises are going to stop any time soon.
To see her joy, is what a husband lives for. So, thank you KITCHENAID.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife talked me into getting the mixer and I am glad she did. I have been it using a couple times a week making breads, English muffins and a couple of cakes. It has been fantastic!

What a difference in power!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was using a MixMaster from the 60s no issues really. Husband found a great deal on the famed Kitchen Aid after hearing the MixMaster struggle with a certain recipe! Only issue with the Kitchen Aid is getting used to very limited space to add ingredients & how very heavy it is. Love the paddle which I never had and the beaters are so much easier to scrape.
