I had to replace my old K45 Tilt-Head Stand Mixer that I had for over 30 years. I got from a friend of the family who was moving back to Germany. She had it for a long time before I got it from her... KitchenAid products are so durable and well made, they can last forever :). I just love my new mixer. Looks great in my kitchen too!

I have had my mixer a couple of weeks and just can't believe what a amazing machine this is. Well made heavy work horse that just makes life easier. I have already gone through 5 lbs of flour and 2 lbs of butter and the neighbors are quite happy that I have this beautiful mixer. I also never liked anything on my counter but this is like jewelry for your kitchen. If you are debating, don't, run and get yours the holidays are coming and this makes everything easy like having a baking, mixing, kneading fairy in your kitchen. The only thing I am sorry about is I waited so long to get this.

I bought this a little over a month ago and am glad I did. I was surprised at how heavy it was, didn't expect the unit to be as sturdy as it is. It has good sturdy attachments also and is easy to use. Love it!

I have had several mixers over the years and have to admit, some were ok. I always wanted a KitchenAid Mixer and always thought that they were too expensive even though I could tell they were a well built quality product. My last mixer I purchased in 2011 really started to bother me a lot. When mixing certain ingredients, the mixer would start to 'walk' and move on the counter which I absolutely could not put up with any longer. It's important to be able to prepare other ingredients to add without having to babysit the mixer for fear it will 'walk' right off the counter. I decided I'm going to treat myself and purchase a KitchenAid Artisan Mixer and my only regret is that I didn't get one two mixers ago. It's worth the extra dollars that you will spend as opposed to a cheaper brand, believe me. The beaters are easier to clean too!
Pros: Performance, easy to use
Cons: A bit pricey.
