Awesome mixer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried other mixers but none of them are as good as KitchenAid. As a baker I use it frequently and it seems to hold up! I always wash it and dry it right away. I do wish there were hydraulics or something to make the tilt head not slam down but I would recommend in a heartbeat!

This is my 3rd kitchen aid standmixer. I had a tilt head mixer and upgraded to a pro 600 series mixer. I thought that mixer was cumbersome to use--I was never happy with the bowl lift. I've only had this kitchenaid for a week and am excited to try it out.(I've been sick and haven't been up to it.) My one big worry is that I've been reading reviews and am concerned about the flaking of the flat white beater. The mixer is beautiful and so far couldn't be happier. My ratings incorporate my experience with my original 5 qt tilt head mixer.

This was given to me as a gift for christmas last year. I put off using it for 6 for months. The first time I used it was because the recipe called for the ingredients to be whisked at high speed. My other stand mixer doesn't have a whisk. I was so impressed by the powerful motor that I use it for everything in the kitchen. Mixes well at each speed. Pretty heavy. Love the red empire color. The dough hook saves me time in the kitchen when making bread. Cleans pretty good. Love love love.
