I bought my Artisan Series 5-Quart Stand Mixer about 2 weeks ago. I have already used it to make cookies, cake and bread. Why did I wait so long? This machine shortens my time in making desserts and blends the ingredients together much easier and better than I did by hand or with a hand mixer. I have also noticed that it improved the texture of the cookies, cake and bread. Cleanup is super easy. Keeping it!

I bought my kitchen aid stand mixer after reviewing and asking lots of questions from people who owned them. They had good scores from everyone so I happily purchased one. I brought it home and was showing it off to my husband,bragging about its good looks! I told him it's kind of like the Harley of mixers,top of the line and all shiney black and silver!! His comment was-- " but does it work". I plugged it in and when I turned it on all it did was make a humming noise! The beaters would not turn!!! Well, that one was returned to the store and exchanged for an identical model. The beaters go round and round on this one!!!! I'm always a bit skeptical when I turn it on wondering if it is going to work-- so far we're in luck,works like a charm!!

I received this as a gift and I love it. I love the beautiful true deep red color. I love the tilt design. I love that the bowl can be used by itself and is easy to access. Nice quality attachments with a recipe book that helps you determine which attachment is appropriate for each recipe type. I previously had the non-tilt version of the kitchen aid , but after 20 years it finally gave up, and I really prefer the tilt version better. Great product.

I've been wanting one forever, and finally my mother's old Sunbeam cords wore out. Happy Birthday to me - I bought it and what a difference! The dough hook and mixing paddle perfectly reach the sides of the bowl for a thorough mixing job. Love the handle on the light weight metal bowl, too!
