I bought this a few weeks ago, I gave a gluten allergy and often miss out on baked goods. So this was a purchase for me to reinvent myself. I love that I can use any kitchen aid attachments even if they were made 10 years ago. I did purchase the ice cream maker atttachment, it works great and half the noise of grandma's old floor ice and salt mixer. I've used it several times since my purchase.

Love the mixer, but disappointed with the slicer/shredder attachment. I was hoping I wouldn't need a food processor too, but I will have to purchase a separate slicer because the attachment does not slice potatoes very well.
