Professional-like but well suited for home cooks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had a KitchenAid mixer for over 30 years and can't imagine being without one. My 30-year old is still working but I've decided to leave it at our winter home instead of transporting it back and forth each time we go to AZ. This time, we left it in AZ and bought a new one for our home in TN. I love them both and they are true work-horses in my kitchen, whether I'm making light deserts or thick doughs.

I've used this numerous times and I love the way it blends, mixes, etc however I STILL have a problem with the metal bowl leaving gray coloring in my batter/dough mixes. I have scrubbed it and washed it by hand and in the washer and it still shows up. It affects the color but not the taste. I scrub in generously before each use even though it's already clean. The gray is lessened with each use but it's still there. I'm hoping one day it will no longer happen. Other than that, I love this machine. It sure makes it easier to make big batches of batter!

It’s made out of sturdy material and runs very smoothly! I love the numerous features and how versatile it is too. I can use it to make a variety of foods and deserts with the different mixing options and all of the accessories available if I choose to buy more.
