[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this since December and subsequently purchased the food grinder attachment and the pasta roller/cutter attachments. Have made several item with the food grinder attachment and have made pasta with the pasta roller. Very easy to use and good quality products.

I bought my first stand mixer 21 years ago and have used it hard. I bought an Artisan as a gift in June and the recipient was so happy with the Artisan model that I went out and bought myself one 2 months later. I use both my old stand mixer and the new one together when I bake or make pizza from scratch. Both perform well and handle the abuse I dish out . The artisan has a better bowl attachment than my old KitchenAid so I like using it to whip up cream and egg whites. The tilt head has a smooth action so I just add my ingredients and go.

I am thrilled with my mixer. I have wanted one ever since we got married 37 1/2 years ago. Due to budget constraints I brought a different brand stand mixer 10 years ago. It never mixed all of the ingredients together and was loud. This fall it started sounding like a jet taking off. My husband said please get a Kitchenaid or we will be using ear plugs from Thanksgiving to Christmas. I have had it for two weeks. Muffins turned out great. I just made three batches of Christmas cookie dough and it worked fantastic. Everything mixed in well without a lot of hand scraping and mixing. Best of all it is quiet. No ear plugs. Happy wife and husband.
