This mixer worked great to it broke. I was taking it out of the box noticed something was wrong. When I looked the mixer was in 2 seperate pieces. The lifting hinge broke in half. I have been seaching for that part for months now and can't find it. Every time I look all I find are attachments never the actual parts of the machine. Very disappointed that something to is so heavy and looks like it's made very well can break so easily. On top of that I'm extremely frustrated with not being able to replace the part that broke.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
