I have always wanted a Kitchenaid mixer! My grandmother and mother had one. It's a staple in every kitchen! I finally was able to afford one and I got the most wonderful color, ice blue. I also received a bonus bowl! My husband and I love our Kitchenaid! It is a joy to use.

I purchased an Artisan mixer about a month ago after my very old (20-30 year old) Sunbeam gave up, and after extensive research and reading reviews. I loved my Sunbeam but several reviews led me to choose the KitchenAid over all other brands of mixers. So far I am very happy with my purchase and I'm surprised that it truly takes noticeably less mixing time and with better results. It may be my imagination but the cookie cups I've made with both my old and new mixer seem more "tender" with my new mixer. So far I've used it for making coffee cake batter from scratch, cookie dough and whipping cream.
I would recommend this to a friend!
