Great mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had one for over 30 years. Still works just fine. Decided I needed a new one. Giving my other one to my Grandson. He wanted to see if he would use it enough to justify me getting him a new one.

Much smoother than my other stand mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great stand mixer. A few months ago, I decided to bite the bullet and get a non-Kitchenaid stand mixer because I thought, "what could be the difference?" The answer, after receiving this mixer for Christmas, I learned, is a lot. The heft with this stand mixer alone sets it apart from the competition. Where my other 4-speed stand mixer would rock aggressively back and forth when the speed was increased past 2, this stand mixer hums along just fine to 6 or 8 before it starts vibrating the slightest bit. That and the much quieter motor makes this superior in enough ways for me to be convinced!
