After dreaming about this mixer for years, I finally bought one. This is a solid, sturdy appliance. Excellent speed settings. What a time saver for this baker! I can do prep work while the mixer is running. No more juggling! No more trying to balance a bowl of "add later" ingredients in one arm while trying to keep the hand mixer steady in the bowl with receiving mixture. No more getting a cloud of dry ingredients when adding it to existing dough. The mixer has an attachment with a spatula side which is great for keeping the dough scraped from the sides of the bowl, ensuring a thorough mix. Now that I see how easy the mixer is to use, I'm looking forward to buying additional parts to try for other dishes.

This mixer is much better than the 600 Pro. This one works: the motor is strong, the beaters reach the bottom of the bowl and can be adjusted, and it fits under my cabinets. Not only that, it's pretty. The only recommendation I have is for KitchenAid to put pour spouts on the stainless bowls.

I bought this mixer in July and I have managed to use it almost every day. I look for excuses to use it because it is amazing! To everything from whisking cream, creaming eggs, cake mixing and making dough, this mixer is brilliant. Does the job very well and I my puddings, cakes and bread look like they have been made by a professional.
