We had an earlier Christmas celebration with my parents over the Thanksgiving holiday. My parents bought my wife and I this mixer. It is amazing! After we got home we used it 5 times in 4 days. Bread, cookies, brownies, meatloaf, pancakes. The mixer did the best job ever on each of these. We are going to be using this a ton, especially over the holidays.

Surprise house warming gift

I grew up with my Mom's Kitchenaid mixer and can't believe that it took me over 60 years to ask for my own. I think it's because we don't have much counterspace so I resorted to just using a hand mixer. Now that I have my own I am once again amazed at how quickly it does the simplest jobs as well as making bigger projects so much easier. And now with the grater attachments those jobs are now a breeze and easy to clean-up. I shouldn't have waited so long -
