[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this mixer for my wife over 7 months ago and she loves it. She is an avid cook and always baking with my daughter and granddaughter. Quality is great like the rest of KitchenAid products we currently owned. I just ordered her the Tea Kettle and we don't expect anything less that KitchenAid quality.

I HAVE WANTED ONE OF THESE MIXERS FOR YEARS, AND FINALLY PURCHASED ONE AFTER ALOT OF RESEARCH ON DIFFERENT BRANDS AND DECIDED THAT KITCHENAID WAS THE BEST ONE ON THE MARKET. i COULDNT HAVE BEEN MORE RIGHT! THIS MIXER IS NOT ONLY GORGEOUS ON MY COUNTER BUT SO EASY TO USE AND WITHSTANDS BATCH AFTER BATCH OF FROSTING WITHOUT OVERHEATING! THE KITCHENAID MIXER MAKES MY BAKING EASY AND FUN AGAIN! THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS PICKING THE COLOR!

I love my mixer and I think it's a must have for everyone's kitchen. This is my second purchase of a KitchenAid mixer b/c I think that I wore out the first one!! The speed levels didn't want to work anymore so I tried a hand mixer for awhile but realized that I just couldn't do it anymore. My husband decided to give in and buy me another KitchenAid and I am so glad he did!! :) do I use it every day? No, not every day but I have to say for making great cakes and just whipping up mash potatoes makes it well worth the purchase!! Thanks KichenAid for a Great product!!

I can honestly say now that I own a Kitchen Aid, it is worth the money. I chose the black "Caviar" Artisan model and I am so pleased. The finish is beautiful. After using it to make cookies, pies, and cupcakes, I am very pleased and wish I would have made the leap sooner. I did notice that when a recipe calls for medium speed I had to use 4. Otherwise it does tend to splatter. I purchased the bowl scraper and I use the plastic bowl cover; which, works very well. There's not as much mess to clean up as I would have expected and compared to my old mixer. I am very pleased with my purchase and definitely recommend the Artisan mixer.
