My husband gave me this stand mixer as an early christmas gift last year and i love it! So many things are made easier with this appliance. Looking forward to purchasing more attachments soon. My only complaint is that the attachments can sometimes be difficult to remove, but i guess I'd rather they be tight than loose.

I had an "old" Kitchen Aid 4.5 qt. mixer for 30 years. I was concerned that it was heating up too much when I made my annual quantity of divinity. I asked for a new one as a Christmas present. Divinity time rolled around December 2016, something in the motor broke. The same quality in the newer mixers is no longer there in comparison to the ones from 30 years ago.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the Artisan mixer. I had the lift bowl mixer which made it messy and hard to add ingredients. So much easier with the tilt head. Love the cherry red color too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to buy this mixer long time ago and my boyfriend bought it for my birthday few days ago. I can say that I'm extremely happy to have it, made cookies and pizza dough couple of times. Pizza taste like the best Italian restaurant pizza. Great buy, all reccomendations.

we are loving our new kitchen aid, my husband has wanted one forever..he was the 1st to use it making bread. i have made dough for noodles and a cake and icing since then. we are looking forward to trying more recipes using our kitchen aid.so as you can see we have used all 3 blades that came with it. and when we have money we may look into some attachments.
