I have been wanting a Kitchen Aid mixer for a very long time. I received it for Valentines Day. I was so happy I just started making things I have always wanted to try. I made bread!!! It's a fabulous addition to my kitchen. Everyone needs a kitchen Aid mixer. It's the best!!!!

I made my husband's favorite. Pumpkin Bread. It made it so easy. Took 1/2 the time, especially creaming the shortening (I use lard) and sugar. The only issue I had was I didn't realize I needed to scrape the bottom before I started with everything else in the recipe, this is the reason for 4 stars. Will know next time.
I would like to get a flex edge beater but the website showed it was only available for the 7 quart, I didn't find one available for the 5 quart that I have.
