Best Mixer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so tired of my little hand held mixer, so I decided to treat myself to a real stand alone mixer. I choose KitchenAid because of the company's reputation. The first time I used it was over the Christmas holiday making pumpkin pies. I was not disappointed. It was so nice being able to add my ingredients to the bowl without stopping the mixer; and the bowl sits firmly inside a little round holder. The mixer is heavy and did not move while in operation on my counter. This KitchenAid mixer works so well and disassembles very easily to clean. I'm very happy that I finally purchased one.

This product is a DREAM to use. Super simple and can be used in ever so many ways. My only slight about the machine is that when using the dough hook, it seems to want to "pop up" or bounce every few rotations, which sounds unhealthy. I have checked that everything is seated correctly, so maybe I got a lemon? I haven't been worried about it enough to call customer service, though. My favorite features are how quickly and evenly I can now whip together batters for cakes and muffins and beat egg whites to super stiff peaks (something I did not have enough hand/arm strength for or patience using my hand mixer. As a result, I am baking more and experimenting with some really fun recipes I would not have attempted before! My friends and family are reaping the benefit of my favorite hobby due to my purchase!

After 37 years of marriage my husband decided I should have a KitchenAid mixer. So when he saw the TV ad we decided to get it. First time using it was for a cake and frosting - - the best ever. I then decided to really test it with a really stiff mixture for the whip attachment - - I made the best Divinity ever and the whip was able to mix it without any trouble. today I am making cookie dough and the regular beater is going through it fine. Big Red is outstanding!

I got this as a wedding gift. I wanted a Kitchen Aid Mixer badly, I use it any time I can; even for mixing pancake batter. I used it to make pizza dough too and the dough hook works very well.
