[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Christmas present! I had no idea how much I needed this KitchenAid stand mixer. I have used it almost every day since I received it. I cannot believe I have used a simple hand-held mixer for over 50 years to make meringues, cakes, etc.

I got this as a gift for Christmas 2015. I used to have a Sunbeam mixer and it was so hard to get the button to release the beaters and the top part that lifts up so that you could get the bowls out, it was horrible. With this one everything is right at your finger tips and very easy to use and understand. Mine came with the wire wisk, a paddle and a bread hook. All three have held up very well. I have bought the pasta maker, the meat grinder and the Ice cream maker attachments for it and have never had a problem using any of them. The ice cream maker is not very big, but thats understandable because of where it has to be attached. I would say that I use my mixer at least twice a week and sometimes every day, I even do my mashed potatoes in it. I like that the mixing bowl is so deep and I dont have to worry about doubling or in some cases tripling batches. I like that I can make everything from cookies, cakes and breads in this machine. I would highly recommend this mixer and all its assorted attachments
