Received this for a mother's day gift and have used it almost daily since then. Also received the processor attachment, which I highly recommend. I've been cooking homemade daily thanks to This! My kids love it, my 3 year old loves to help add ingredients. It is a little loud but no louder than any other mixer would be.

So happy with my new artisan mixer! The power and ease of use in addition to the numerous attachments and functionality makes this mixer in my opinion the best tool in my kitchen. In addition to every day meals, I prepare holiday dinners for the family and this mixer will definitely make my tasks so much easier. It is the perfect size for my needs and fits perfectly on my counter with enough clearance under the cabinets to tilt head for use and not have to move it. I am anxious to use it for a special family candy recipe I usually only make at Christmas time, with the pour shield and convenience of a stand mixer, I can add the ingredients without having to have help. The mixer runs very smooth and with the power it has, I assumed it would be loud but it's actually more quite than the much lower wattage mixer I was using. Did I mention how beautiful it looks on my kitchen counter? It honestly is the best mixer I have ever owned! LOVE IT!

Weak design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Old mixer had a pin which vibrated out and caused mixer to shake in controllably. Thought it was due to age. Bought a new one but it has same problem. Pin is secured by a weak little screw that constantly vibrates loose. The screw is a hex screw and requires a special tool to adjust. Returned it after one use. Very disappointing and we expected better I am hoping the replacement will be an improvement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
