I waited years, literally, to buy one of these trying to justify the cost. If you are debating, it is worth every penny plus! I keep it on the counter, thereby not having to drag it out of a cupboard. And I am LOVING every minute I use it! Cakes, brownies, mashed potatoes - watch out! The only drawback is the weight - so make it convenient for yourself to use. So if you want one -GET IT NOW!

I am so pleased with this mixer with the stainless steel bowl. I made a cake for the first use and it worked perfectly. I purchased the spatula type blade which is helpful when making batter since it is not necessary to stop and scrape the bowl. The wire whisk must be hand washed to avoid discoloration. All in all the mixer is well made and a quality item. It is a bit on the heavy side.
