I bought the artisan kitchen aid mixer for my mom as a surprise gift on Christmas, and she has been very happy using it! She knows and recognizes that the Kitchen aid brand has the leading kitchen appliances and I couldnt go wrong with this mixer. It makes baking so much easier for her, no more handheld mixers. The ability to use attachments such as a food processor or a juicer make this a gift that you can continue to improve upon. I will definitely buy some of the attachments to get the best out of this mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I waited too long to buy this. Should have bought it 30 years ago. Don't know how I ever got along without this wonderful mixer. It will never be hidden in a cupboard.

My new Kitchenaid mixer is replacing my Oster that was about 45 years old. I love the results of my Kitchenaid but it is very heavy. I don't like appliances on my countertop so I have to haul this out of a closet. My husband usually does this for me. I LOVE the bowl scraper and the shield (lid-cover with a spout) and I also love the results of this mixer

I am old enough to remember my mother making bread and rolls back in the day. She did a wonderful job and the smell was to die for. I am now of the age that kneading the bread became almost impossible, until my husband bought this mixer for me for Christmas. With the pieces that come with it; it is very easy to make the bread. It is a very sound appliance and makes some bread we love. Thank you for building on the model from 1939 and continuing to build a fine product.
