Why did I ever wait so long for my Kitchenmaid Mixer????

I love to cook and bake. I cannot tell you how many handmixers I have gone through over the years. Finally my husband said, "Don't you think it's time you get yourself a GOOD mixer?". Before I knew it we were in the car and on our way to purchase my Kitchenaid. Why, oh why, did I ever wait so long? I use it for baking, mashed potatoes, mixing meatloaf and so much more. Thank you Kitchenaid for making a 62 yr. old woman happy.

This was a thoughtful birthday gift, and it has been wonderful. As a recent college graduate, I have been baking without a mixer for several years, and it never occurred to me how much faster, more efficient, and easier it is to bake with an electric mixer/whisk, and especially with this mixer. I have always loved KitchenAid mixers. We received a classic one for a wedding gift and it lasted 12 years. It probably would have lasted longer if we had not used it in Europe (with a converter). I love the new colors and the handle on the bowl of the Artisan. It is alot easier to hold when pouring out the batter. It would be great if you could incorporate a spout at the edge of the bowl for pouring out the batter into small cups or muffin tins.

We are big OkState fans so orange is our favorite color. When my husband told me he got me a kitchenaid for our anniversary and that it was orange, I pictured the yellow-orange color I'd seen before. But when I opened the box and saw this one I was pumped! I've already made cornbread, cheesecake and lots of cookies! Looking forward to many years of yumminess!
