I got this as a gift and am thrilled with it. I have arthritis so now making a cake is a breeze. I was amazed at how quickly it mixes everything. It is very easy to use and the different color choices are a great addition. This is a real show stopper for my kitchen Island.
It makes it easy to bake cakes. I can't wait to try it out for other items. It is also easy to clean up and store all the items

We bought this mixer several years ago and love it. Our daughter got married last year and this is one of the few things she did not get as a shower or wedding gift. She loves to cook and makes many things from scratch. She loves our mixer and will be surprised to receive one of her own as her Christmas present. I'm sure she will love it and get many years of use from it. If you want to buy a top quality heavy duty mixer, look no further than KitchenAid. It's simply the best!

This mixer is powerful and well-built. The fact that the head tilts back really adds to the ease of getting into the bowl.
The mixer itself is extremely easy to use. Because of the mixing motion, don't expect to spend as much time mixing anything. Take your time to make sure you don't over-mix what you're working on.
It's a versatile machine and will do just about anything--from bread dough to cakes/batters...and more! The wife even dropped some cooked potatoes into the bowl...and with milk, butter, and salt and a little bit of mixing, we had some awesome mashed potatoes!
It's not the cheapest mixer out there. However, this is going to be well worth the money. You will *not* be disappointed. And I can tell you that the wife and I are going to be using this thing a lot!
