I received a Kitchen Aid Artisan mixer for Christmas and I love it. It works well. I prefer the glass bowl with the lid to the metal one but have used both. The glass bowl is trickier to mount on the stand but it works great. I mixes my cookie dough and other items up a lot quicker. It just takes a little time to get used to. It's so different from what I had.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had heard so many people talk about their KitchenAid like it had some mystical powers. After receiving our Artisan mixer I am becoming a believer! My wife and I decided to buy the Artisan as a birthday present for both of us (our birthday's are a month apart) and I am so glad we did.
I've become a pretty good baker over the last few years - known especially for my flaky pie crusts. Well, the KitchenAid lets me produce the same quality product but with a lot less work and fuss.
The mixer is much quieter than I was expecting, super easy to clean up and is making our lives in the kitchen easier, tastier and more efficient.
Our exploration has just begun and I can already see it is going to be a fun and delicious journey as we master the intricacies of our new Kitchen Aid Artisan mixer. The gorgeous looking appliance also adds some nice esthetics to our kitchen.
Would recommend to anyone who spends a lot of time in the kitchen and could use a little help in the process - this mixer is now a big part of our kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this mixer as a gift to replace my other commercial grade mixer and oh my, there is absolutely no comparison! This mixer puts my commercial grade mixer to shame! It mixes perfectly and gets right up to the edge of the bowl. No having to scrape down the sides to get everything mixed in perfectly. My thoughts on this mixer are....why did I wait so long to get one!!
