i grew up using a kitchenaid mixer, as my parents had received one as a wedding gift. that unit is still working 33 years later! when it came time for me to buy my own stand mixer, i had only one option - a kitchenaid. so far, it has been a fantastic unit, tackling everything i have tried to make. it's also such a good looking product that i leave it out on my counter. the only downside is the price of the optional attachments (such as the pasta maker) - i would love to buy some extra gadgets, but for now that will have to wait
Pros: Performance, Design, Good looking unit, Convenient Features, Innovative, easy to use
Cons: price of optional attachments

So Easy to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my KitchenAid mixer with holiday gift money, and used it right away to make cookies, bread, and a pineapple upside down cake (a family favorite. Using it to mix up those batters was a dream compared to the hand-held mixer I've used for years. I already have requests to bring cookies to a monthly meeting I attend, and several requests for more banana bread and other goodies. I look forward to more baking than every before with this outstanding, easy-to-use mixer.
