I kept putting off purchasing a stand mixer as I didn't think I was worth it. I also didn't think I'd find a place for it in our kitchen...I'm not one who likes "clutter" on the counters. My fiancée encouraged us to purchase a mixer as Kohl's had an unbelievable deal at Christmas...I use it at least twice a week...cookie dough is so much easier - smoother, fluffy, creamy. No more fighting with an ancient hand mixer for me...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Made several pizzas by hand and the worst part is kneading the dough. Very tiring but this mixer took all the work out of it. The dough was better than I’ve ever made it!

I can't believe I went without a kitchaid stand mixer for so long. The days of breaking wooden spoons mixing cookie dough are gone. This mixer powers through the thickest dough with ease.

I received my artisan kitchen aid mixer (empire red, of course) for my birthday and I would never own another brand. My first mixer purchased nearly 18 yrs ago is still doing it's job!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I like the power of the mixer for mixing thick cookie dough and making breads; I think adding flour and other ingredients while mixing is a real problem; My old Sunbeam mixmaster was much easier. Also scraping the sides of the bowl while mixing was not very easy.
