My new standing mixer makes it really simple to make cookies, breads, and many other things with ease. The stand mixer is an iconic alliance and my kitchen wouldn't be complete without it. I purchased the pistachio color, which is a perfect hint of green in my vintage-style home. The tools intuitively pop on and off and the bowl and tools requires no-fuss cleaning.
There is a small design flaw in my opinion, the silver "Kitchenaid" band that wraps around the head of the mechanism is a little loose and flour and other items can get stuck, so this requires great attention if you don't want a flour build-up around that pretty silver band. Also I found the mixer to be 'shaky' if the dough or mix gets too thick, and you have to be mindful of that as to not burn out the motor of the appliance. It's possible the 'shakes' come from user-error, but I also think it could be from a weaker motor than I expected to have on the alliance.

Love my KA mixers - I have 2! And use them almost on a daily basis! Only issue I have are the attachments, you can't put them in the dishwasher as the top attachment piece (where it attaches to the machine) discolors and goes rough (I discovered this with my first machine but now with my newer machine I noticed a slip advising not to do it).
