Had done lots of research before making my final decision.
Could not be happier. I did have some concerns the first time I used it as I was making my first patch of Christmas cookies and had to carefully read the directions so I would not have any problems. It worked beautifully and my first patch of cookies were great!!!!

I used to make bread and crust for pies with a breadmakers dough function, but not since I found the value and convienence of the KitchenAid aritsan mixer. it will take over all and any of the mixing embarrasment of breads, and also muffins, dips, creams, cheeses and meats. My Brother has one and I wanted one for a while, then went ahead an bought it while it was on sale. I don't regret my choice!

I had a Kitchenaid mixer for 30+ years and I wanted a red one. I also want all my kids to have a Kitchenaid mixer so gave my 'old' one to my daughter. It is wonderful and a must have for anyone that likes to cook or especially bake. I love it. Best thing since sliced bread or the microwave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old KitchenAid Stand Mixer was a joy, a true work horse. Unattended it walked off the counter, destroyed. As a bread baker a stand mixer is a much desired tool. I find this one more of a toy, sure lacking compared to my old one bought in the late 70s.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
