My husband bought me this for Christmas. I make a lot of pound cakes. This stand mixer takes half the time than a hand mixer. It's a great addition to my kitchen.

I received this as a gift. I went to use it and one of the pins on the side popped out and there were sparks flying. This happened after not even using it that much. It was really hard to try to figure out how to take it apart to try to fix the problem.

I have used this mixer to mix cookie dough, a meatloaf and a cake mix. It has made it easier to make them all. I am going to make bread soon. Clean up is a breeze. I would highly recommend one to anyone that needs a mixer.

This is my second KitchenAid stand mixer. The first was a classic and lasted me through 18 years of hard use and multiple moves. I just recently bought this one when my old one died and noticed a nice upgrade in power, with the added benefit of still being able to use the bowl, mixers, and attachments from my original stand mixer. KitchenAid makes an excellent stand mixer and it was the only brand I would buy to replace my old one!
