I bought my kitchen aid mostly because I have to make and bake most of my cakes, pizzas, muffins, breads, and more. I have a daughter that is celiac and I needed something very strong and efficient to stand all th mixing. After researching and asking family members that had Ktichen aid for decades I had no doubt in my mind. It was the best decision I have done about a mixer. It blends everything perfectly well specially when you talking about mixing gluten free foods all the time. It is fast, strong, and beautiful! I am very satisfied with my choice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just upgraded to the Artisan 5 quart from the Classic 4.5 quart. We kept our Classic as it still works (even tho it is at least 15 years old), but I wanted to upgrade to a new one. I have already made pizza crust, rolls, cookies, whipped cream and bread with my new mixer. It makes all your baking easier! My mixer gets used a couple times a week at least usually. It is a solid machine built to last. It is my favorite kitchen gadget and in a permanent spot on the counter so it is always ready for me.
I recommend to everybody to get the paddle with the flex edge (not included but not expensive ). Not required but makes life easier as you don't have to stop to scrape, the edge does it for you.
I love how the artisan comes with the splash guard. Another thing that makes life so much easier when adding flour to a mix. I recommend the mixers to people all the time, it really does make your cooking so much easier. I haven't used my hands to knead bread in years.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’d had a Kitchen-aid stand mixer for decades, but recently, when I began to bake bread weekly, I found my dough overwhelming the bowl and attempting to “climb up” the dough hook and “escape.” So my husband bought me the “Artisan” version which has a more powerful motor and a bigger bowl. I just love it!
