We have had this a couple months now and it's quite solid. We downsized from a lift-bowl model as the kids have grown. It seems to be quite adequate, but it takes some getting used to the smaller size.

My mother-in-law makes homemade pizza and bakes all the time. I love baking, but I wanted to be able to make the homemade pizza because it is better than any pizza joint around. I tried using other brands of mixers and they could never handle the dough. I am so glad that I was finally able to purchase a KitchenAid. When I got it and my mother-in-law saw it, she told me CONGRATULATIONS. Now I can't wait to get other attachments!

The large mixing bowl,the convenience of hands free mixing and the ease of changing the attachments all great. I find myself looking for receipes so I can use my mixer.
