easy to use powerful mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has had a KitchenAid mixer for years and has had good luck with it so I when my old mixer - a different brand - that I'd had for years started acting up, I bought this one.
I am pleased that it makes a smooth batter and is easy to clean. The bowl is quite large so I have to figure out what to do when you need two mixing bowls of different sizes. I also want to try some more different weight batters to see how I like how they work. I added the additional beater that scrapes the side and am very pleased with that, although the regular one works pretty good, too.
I'm still deciding on the best place to store it, as it is taller than its predecessor. For now its on my limited counter space.
I'm looking forward to many years of good service with my first KitchenAid appliance.
