[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this wonderful mixer for Mother's Day--it was something I had wanted for years. What a great gift! The first thing I made was a treasured family cookie recipe that had always before required me to do many heavy tasks by hand, adding oatmeal, gumdrop pieces, and coconut. I was cautious adding those, and was so happy that the mixer easily blended them in the dough. What a labor-and time-saver. I am thrilled and look forward to exploring all the mixer's features and strengths. It was worth the wait, plus the mixer takes up less counter space than my previous stand mixer, a pleasant surprise.

I recently purchased an Artisan tilt-head mixer, and have been really pleased with it. I also have an older KA stand mixer (the type that raises and lowers) as well as a KA hand mixer, food processor and coffee grinder. This brand never disappoints - durability, performance and value.
