[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where has this been all my life??? Everything is made easier by using the Kitchen Aid Mixer - Arisan Series 5 QT. I just love this thing. I purchased the shredder attachment and I can say that component operates beautifully. There is no way you can ever be sorry for making a bit of a pricey purchase because the Kitchen Aid is a classic example of you get what you pay for. I am sure it will outlive me but on the off chance it does not I would replace it for the same thing. Do yourself a favor and add this to your cooking arsenal.

I grew up with my mom always having one, my mother in law has one and I FINALLY have one of my own! love the many levels of speed and the locking feature with my two toddlers around. Also the bowl cover to save from crazy messes when my toddlers turn the speed up on me.
