I am so glad to have this handy, modern and pretty kitchenaid mixer. I had my oster mixer for many years and it worked fine, but I needed a lift for my kitchen. Now all I need is a blender to round out my new appliances. The free glass bowl was an added feature. Thanks kitchenaid!

I've only used my stand mixer twice so far, but I've already noticed that it has lots of crevices that gunk can get caught in. Maybe I'm just messier than most people, but I got batter in the base when I'd taken out the bowl & now there is permanent debris in the screws that I couldn't take out with sponges, cloths, or even toothpicks. But I like my appliances to be spotless (especially when they're brand-spanking new). I know it's inevitable that this will happen, but I foresee a lot more stuff gunking it up if this was just my first time. But other than that, I love it & would still recommend it!

This model is powerful enough to be great with anything I have used it for. Love the handle on the mixing bowl. The tilt head allows convenient access for scraping the bowl and adding ingredients. I keep finding more uses for it...at this point I rarely if ever beat anything by hand. The mixing speeds are perfect and the bowl size is great for any of my recipes. I would give this 10 stars if the review went up to that!
