This is the 2nd KitchenAid mixer I"ve owned. Probably the most valuable small appliance in my kitchen. I've always relied on KitchenAid, and it provides me with awesome cookies and baked goods. Nothing wrong with my old one, frankly, but I just wanted a more updated version and did step up to the 5qt one. I've given them as wedding/shower gifts to four people now, including my daughter, and everyone has been excited and delighted to receive them.
Looking forward to getting the ice cream maker...summer is upon us, and I think I'd like to make our own frozen yogurts and ice creams.

I bought this mixer and it's GREAT. The attachments awesome! I used the vegetable peeler abd attachment to make tomato puree and the pasta maker..life us so much easier with my kinchenaid.

I got this stand mixer for Christmas and have used it a lot. For years, I used a hand held portable mixer, since using my KitchenAid Stand Mixer, I will never use a portable mixer again. It's mixes all my ingredients extremely well and I can't wait to try some of the attachments available. I would highly recommend this mixer to anyone who likes to bake.
