I had an old white kitchen aid mixer and it lasted 18 years and is still being used by my daughter. I wanted a bigger mixer bowl with a handle. But still wanted the head of mixer to still tilt back. I find the tilt head mixer is easier for me to use then the next bigger model which the head is stationery. I love the handle on this bowl makes it so much easier to carry to pan or bowl to pour out. I like the shield especially when mixing cream or liquids on high. This is the perfect mixer. Love Love love!!!

I like my machine...except it seems to have a slight "jump:" when it is mixing. It isn't all the time, but maybe once every 5-10 turns of the blade...don't know why and wondering if I should return it or not, for another, or if this is normal.

It is very easy to use, a little heavy to lift. has a lot of attachments. The only thing I am disappointed in as I didn't get the color I wanted, I love the rasberry one, I got ice blue . The raspberry ice wasn't available. :(
