This is the best; I finally am satisfied with my homemade bread. It is very heavy but I found a permanent place on my counter so I will not have to pick it up by myself each time I need to use it. Should have purchased this a long time ago, for myself.

I bought my old kitchen mixer in 1979. I used it every day as I lived on a ranch with 5 kids. My mother had the same mixer and when my daughter got married, I gave them one. My old mixer was making grinding noises and was tired so I bought a new one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this last month to replace the black one my husband gave to me as a Christmas gift over 20 years ago. I gave my old mixer to my daughter to use as it still is working! RED is my favorite color, so I chose this color when buying my own. I just got finished baking a slew of Christmas cookies and this workhorse never let me down!

My first kitchen aid mixer is over 20 years old and was still going strong. I bought a new one just because I figured eventually the motor has to give out and I got such a good deal over the holidays. I'm sure the new mixer will last just as long! Great investment. I've also recently purchased many attachments for it to make life that much easier!
