Great product except for the grey residue...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my mixer; however, I did encounter the grey residue issue that is a known problem. For the amount of money the mixer costs, I find it unacceptable. This should be fixed in the factory and not left to the consumer to resolve.

Other than the fact this is a very heavy unit; I just love my Kitchenaid. I had one many years ago that was lost in a home fire and just didn't want to spend the money to purchase another. I can't be happier that I received this as a gift from my husband.
