I got my xmas present early - like, nearly a month early - and I've been using it and in love with it every since! The first thing I noticed is that it is quiet! Like, whisper quiet. I did not know what to expect, but that soft, almost gentle sounding hum was not it! I could probably run this with my baby taking a nap in the same room and it wouldn't wake him! It's said that mixing anything with a stand mixer will be different than any other mixing (hand or hand-held mixer) you are used to, and they're not wrong! I've had to get used to how fast my dough mixes, how soft and fluffy my bread is, how quick the cookies come together... Just wow! I knew they were awesome, but this really blew my mind!

I had been thinking about a kitchen aid stand mixer for such a long time. I always told my husband to never get me an appliance for Christmas but so happy he paid attention when I kept saying I would like to have a mixer. I have been using my old stand mixer for at least 40 years. I purchased your Kitchenaid after an extensive review of comments from other customers and my own friends, and I couldn't be happier with all its features. It has a prominent place on my counter, and sits on a tray that I can easily just pull out to use. I especially like the cover with the hopper to add ingredients. And bread is so much easier than my kneading by hand! We'll be having cinnamon rolls oftener now. I only wish I had purchased it sooner.

I received this mixer as a gift and have wanted one for many, many years. I could never bring myself to spend the money on it, but now that I have it I use it even more than I ever imagined. It has far exceeded my expectations and is truly a necessity for anyone who loves to be in the kitchen. Now that I have it I have no idea how I managed without it!
