I've always had hand-me-down appliances and, for years, I've used a hand-held mixer which was good, but not great. I thought that I wouldn't use the KitchenAid enough to warrant purchasing one, but decided to treat myself a few months ago. Now I'm kicking myself that I didn't purchase it years ago. It does a great job and worth it.

Got this mixer a month ago, after 2 years of wanting a kitchen aid. So glad, I absolutely love it. There is nothing I would change about the performance. I believe it is powerful enough for any task of the home baker, or professional baker, for that matter. Love it!
