I have wanted a KitchenAid mixer since I was about 15. To me, the brand has always signified quality. I love to cook and it adds a degree of simplicity that is unparalleled. It is extremely durable, which is a must with 5 kids in the house; and with all the attachments available I know that my awesome mixer and I have many adventures to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband bought the Artisan mixer for me after seeing daughter's mixer and how easy it was to use. It save a lot of time and does so much more than my old mixer. This mixer deserves more than five stars. I have since purchased the paddle with the coated side and it saves more time where you do not have to stop mixer to scrap sides. LOVE IT!!!!

I bought a white Kitchenaid mixer over 20 years ago and it still worked great when I replaced it. I didn't need to replace it, but I wanted one in red with 5 speeds. I gave mine away to a friend and imagine it will keep working for years to come. But I love seeing the red mixer in my kitchen!

I previously owned the Classic which was great, but I decided I wanted the larger capacity bowl and color. My first one to arrive made horrible noise and completely quit working after two uses. I took it back to the store where purchased and they replaced it. The second mixer still made more noise than the Classic, but not to the point where I thought it was going to explode!
So far, I am very pleased with the mixer, but think $100 is a bit much for color and a 1 quart larger bowl.
